Dear Shlomo and Omer,
As we return from our trip to Danakil desert that was organized by you, I would like to summarize our experiences in this trip.
I would like to thank all which took part organizing and making it happen!
It was an excellent trip and highly recommended for adventure travelers who look forward to very special experiences as well having physical fitness.
We are a group of very experience travelers all over the word and when we summarized this trip we could not find any point of critics, needless to say a bad experience.
Especially this due to the excellent guide Daniel and the large team that cooperated with him including the drivers, the cook and his assistants and the local AFAR guards that accompanied us.
Daniel managed the trip and the group with self confidence, high standard of service, taking care that everyone will be managing his job in a perfect way.
He is a true leader and warm person which made this few days with him a wonderful experience.
The physical condition in this trip is very unusual, the temperature during the day reachs 38 C the outside sleeping requires good sport spirit and the climbing to the volcano mountain at night was challenging as well.
Nevertheless at the end I have one important comment regarding the incident which our jeep sinked into deep send. Another incident was when one of the jeeps could not start and they had to shift the battery from one car to another in order to fix it. Our recommendation is that the gear of the jeep must include proper dragging strips and proper cables to jump start electric power from one jeep to another. In this occasion we were the experienced team that tough the locals that they should pave the road with stones and wood in order to extract the car out.
The bottom line is: That is certainly worth it! And we were photographing intensively trying to catch the special sights.
We can certainly conclude that the logistic production was 100%!
Dear friends, thank you all for your part on organizing this trip and thanks again to Daniel and all the collaborators in Ethiopia.
